| Marketing overall within rugby league is shambolic and light years behind other sports.
Wire as a club have made some positive changes of late but improving on this recent progress consistently Year on year is required. Direct input from fans should support this agenda

| Could a major point be that with so many large employers in town on varying shift systems that quite a lot of fans are at work when the matches are being played.

| Be interesting to see how attendances for Thursday matches pan out. Too far for me to travel on a weekday. Don't know how many other people are in my boat and whether it will significantly affect attendances. I suppose Sky calls the tune these days so there'll be no going back to regular Sunday matches.

Looking at my mini fixture guide I picked up at the shop last week, we only have three more 'regular' season Thursday night games, one away at Salford, then Wigan and Salford at home. At least there are no trips to Hull...
Admittedly, if you're not living/working within 30 miles of the Warrington area, that's no consolidation (I work near Manc. Airport and driving to Leeds last Thursday was an absolute nightmare, I wouldn't have bothered had it not been the first game of the season)...

Praying for a nice double, myself.
Sky+ the City game, and bike as soon as The Wire has finished.
Back on thread, you don't need the brainpower of that annoying lover Prof. Brian Cox to realise a successful side means good attendances. We got good attendances when we won 3 CCs in 4 years, on the back of a world wide recession. People found the money to watch a successful product. In the past 3 or 4 years, the world has ridden the effects of the recession, but our performances/results have been on the wane, so people have stayed away.
Win, and they will come.
Come On The Wire (and City)

| Has any other club that has moved grounds in the last couple of decades experienced the increased level of support that we did when moving from Wilderspool to the HJ? We has a huge increase overnight, and as the new ground factor started to fade a bit we finally became a trophy winning team which again guaranteed fresh interest.
It's no surprise that now both those factors have gone attendances are down.

| Once a wire all ways a wire. I'm new to this but your heart will always be the the club where they play, how good they play, who plays for them, Warrington have moved on so much in last 5 10 years on and off the pitch everyone should embrass the team and club new dawn new beginning. Wire wire wire. This could ............

| Decent crowd I thought today considering the Hull KR following was down on their usual numbers. 11k there, probably 300-400 from Hull KR?
I think the 'Home areas' hold about 11k so we must have been fairly close to capacity in the North / South / East.....?

| North and East looked very well filled. South was reasonably busy where I was. A Wigan/Saints sized away crowd would've seen a really impressive crowd. Season ticket sales are apparently up about a fifth.

| Yes it looked comfortably full from the north.
I can see there being a couple of sell outs this year at HJ - needed really to justify the expense of the corners.

| Was disappointed with the north when lizzie was singing attendance wise, but come kick off it was nearly full apart from the away seats, the corner quadrant was pretty full as well.
South standers, what did we think of the reception area in Jack fish corner today?
Granted I'm not a huge fan of popular music but whilst queuing for a coffee pre match I did think it added a different atmosphere upon entering the stadium in that corner. It's immediately making you think it's an event.
Also, did anyone else know they were keeping that corner open till 6? Music was still on and they were still selling beer post match
