How could anyone think we need to lose Hill in order to appreciate how important he is? Just about every thread highlights his importance. Or has your estimation of TS fallen so low that you REALLY think he hasn't noticed?

I think his reasoning, and I agree, is that it will make it (even more) painfully obvious how lacking we are up front if Hill took a spell on the sidelines. That the silver lining to an injury for him might be that it forces management to fix the problem instead of just throwing Chris Hill at it.

How can you think the management don't know the strengths and weaknesses of the team? Do you seriously believe supporters have more insight than they do?
The difficulties of building a team on a budget should be obvious, even more so if you've tried selecting a fantasy team in any sport.

You're responding to something I didn't say and ignoring that I said, explicitly, that losing Hill would make it [ieven more[/i painfully obvious; acknowledging that the club are probably already painfully aware. I didn't suggest that the club didn't know the team's strengths and weaknesses. I would say they are well aware of the strengths given how much work Hill is going through.

Right now nobody on here has any idea whether there would be a jump to action if Hill suddenly hit the sidelines. This is just conjecture.

(Not sure I'd liken building a real world team of players to selecting names with prices attached to them, though )
