but place of honour goes to the wonderful, sublime John Woods. I'd give anything just to be able to see him murder Ellery Hanley straight from the scrum to score on his Locker Cup debut, in the flesh, one last time (Open Rugby had a brilliant photo of it that adorned my bedroom wall, the look on Hanley's face said a thousand words).

We had him for 3 or 4 years before he went to the NRL. Can't blame him for that. Then he made Origin.
