| Monster in defence and handy in attack. As soon as he can put together a decent spell without injury he'll be hard to miss out of the 17.

Again a good team, what a great bench.

| Riley on the wing, Rhys to the centre, Tyke and Harrison to miss out. I think Saints will be playing a kick and chase game so I hope Ratchford is on form.
Nobody has mentioned Currie. Presumably they will be playing him in the U19's curtain raiser.

| I would sooner play tyke than cooper. Tyke plays above his weight, defensively very strong and has a good finishing mind set.
Cooper defensively very strong, but drops more than his share of ball, doesn't have the same level of prowess as tyke. Is also moving on.

Another opportunity for you to declare that you've stopped watching the game.
I think McCarthy and Riley will both play.

| I reckon Cooper and Evans will miss out, on Ben C remember his only a kid playing in a forward position, resting him is the right thing to do.

| Briers is playing scrum half, with Grix at stand off. Harrison at loose and Cooper on the bench. That's all Ive heard.

| Would have thought O'Brien would be useful at scrum half especially if full back Ratch has left his kicking boots at home. Tying Grix up at half back doesn't sound a very good idea especially when he may be needed as centre or forward cover in the event of injury during the match.

| So we call back a natural halfback and not play him for a utility forward?

| Playing Grix at 7 is bizzare. It must feel to O'Brien similar to getting a plumber in to build a wall. Grix has been great this season where he has played in a more suitable position. You never know Smith may be trying to balance the playing field with them playing Wilkin in there

| For me, Gareth has to play.
For one he'll have something to prove to us - that we can't afford to let him go and he's the future. He'll also have something to prove to Saints, that if Warrington don't want him they should sign him. He'll also have seen the Saints players close up in training and know where and who to target. Finally, with Brett not playing goalkicking could be vital and I'd give him the nod over Stef.
Either way, I wouldn't be suprised to see O'Brien get MOM if he plays.

You say this, but he hasn't played the last 3 matches and has just had a week off, not sure what the conditioning is like at Warrington, but I'm sure that four weeks rest is more than enough

| I do find that odd. But then we know that Saints fans would cheer it to the rafters if O'Brien was stretchered off.
