theres no place for such behaviour in rugby league.
It starts with a drum stick being hurled into the canal...but where does it end?

I heard the Casuals were planning to contaminate their pies with horsemeat.

| What's wrong with smoke bombs you big tarts? I've never seen one at a Warrington match (I was in the corner of the terrace at last season's semi, so I assume if there was one there it was in the middle) but I've been in the midst of them elsewhere. They water the eyes a bit yes, but look brilliant.
I'm not on Facebook so can't search "Warrington Casuals", but knowing Warrington I assume that just means they all go the match in blag G-Star jeans and Henley's T-shirts. Best avoided yes, but then with a very small number of exceptions I imagine everyone on here to be as well.

| Of course, but the thread will be locked if it goes down that route.
I'm not actually advocating hooliganism or anything - although by all accounts Warringtonians of the 1980s took no prisoners - but the way people on here get on their high horses about things like smoke bombs is ridiculous.
If I was a Wigan fan I actually doubt I'd stand with the Brigantes (at home games anyway, I possibly would away) because at 33 next week I'm a bit old for the bouncing and singing for 80 minutes lark. Their little corner full of flags did look good when we went there last week though, and I give them credit for bothering to do something to improve their atmosphere.

Ultras aren't hooligans. It has been a mistake that British media (namely Four For Two magazine) have used over the years. But having spoken to many fans of European clubs over the last few years following City every club's fans I've spoken to have said Ultras are courful noise making fans; hooligans are hooligans.

| What about fireworks? Someone could smuggle in some rockets and bangers and we could have an electric atmosphere at the HJ, imagine Joel Monaghan going in at the corner and then someone in the South Stand firing off a load of rockets to celebrate.
The other good one is automatic firearms, have you seen when Iran qualified for the world cup their fans were firing guns into the air and it looked awesome.

So if you aren't a hooligan why put your scarf around your face as though you are some bad ass paramilitary thats wanting to avoid being seen by the police. It just makes you look like a sad wannabe. Like those students on marches that wear the V for Vendetta masks as though they are some dangerous revolutionary and they complain when they get kettled for half an hour.
