Well we can't blame Woody for wanting to move to a bigger club I suppose. It must be the allure of bigger crowds, better supporters, more silverware, shorter commuting and free match day pies. Who amongst us would turn down a similar opportunity ?

personally i dont think he would be, move harrison up to prop and currie, grix and cooper get more game time

Short term the squad would be weaker as we would be a body down and I rate Woody as a prop, however I'd like to take a look at House as prop with Currie & Grix picking up more game time in the back row. Should really bring forward Curries development.

He will certainly leave a hole, and he has been a great servant to the club. He made his first team debut at 18, but he is now 32 and only has this year to the end of his contract. He might find a 2yr deal very attractive. I would still be surprised if TS were to agree, but then he did try House at prop at the weekend, and he certainly needs to bring Currie and Laithwaite through, so who knows.

If he does go, even though it is Wigan, he'd still go with all my best wishes, he always been a top pro at this club. Hope doesn't but if he does good luck Woody.

Good luck to him if he does leave... he would go with my best wishes... He has given his all to our club...I dont begrudge him a move to his home town club.... Be a nice way for him to end his career.

Agreed, been a great servant to the club and was an important part of a team that has given us unprecedented success over the past four years.

Terrible, he'll be the oldest player at Wigan. Still there'll be at least eight older than him at Warrington, and a similar number at Saints.

He's a mere child compared to some of those.
