If the weather is like this I'll be in Havaiana's.
Quote just_browny="Moe syslak"Gotta agree with Mr. Murphy and Roddy B on this one. Although i think we'll win next sat i don't want to be playing saints in the semi final that matters. Forget about league positions, i would rather face wigan any day of the week, even at their place. Besides that challenge cup tie(minus briers and morley) i can't remember the last time we lost to them. Aren't saints the only team to win at the HJ this season?'"
Fully agreed. If we win next week and Wigan lose thus giving us Clubcall I would pick anyone besides Saints in week three - even if it is Wigan.
I don't care if that makes it look like I'm running scared of Saints - I'm on an internet forum, not the Warrington training ground, so it doesn't matter if I'm scared or not - they are masters of getting to the Grand Final and masters of beating Warrington. Yes the "hoodoo" might be over, but they're still the only team to beat us on our own ground this year.
I'm not saying Wigan, Leeds, or even Catalans would be easy - Wigan finished top for a reason, Leeds have an outstanding play off record including the ultimate heartbreak for us last year, and Catalans beat us once away and gave us a very tough game at home this season. All would be tough opponents, but I'd choose any of them - or indeed anyone else if they were to make it through - before Saints all day long.
