Anyone got any park & ride suggestions? Were staying in Dunstable the night before and cant decide whether it@ll be best to drive down to Wembley and park somewhere or get train from Hemel Hempsted to Wembley Central?

If there are rooms available go for the Premier Inn in Greenford, cheap as chips and one bus ride to the stadium (297) plus the bus goes (in the opposite direction) to Ealing which is a cracking night out.

In fact look to hotels and B&B's in Ealing Broadway area, there are two buses 83 and 297 that take you to Wembley.

Prem inn at croxley green Watford, tube station 300 yds away and free car parking if your staying at hotel. Stayed there before good pub attached for meals and drinks or a Witherspoon within walking distance for Evan cheaper beer and food.

Driving down on Friday morning. Going straight to the Harry Potter studios tour, then on to The Village in Elstree. Might get the tube into London and go on the Eye-Wheel-Thing on Friday evening as its open until midnight.
Then after a nice lie-in, a swim & a starbucks get the tube from Elstree to Wembley (2 stops apparantly).
Drive back home late sunday morning. Heaven.

There's no underground at Elstree mate, only a national rail station. |
