What I can't work out is; you watch Wigan on tv and when they show their fans they are the biggest bunch of in-breds ever captured on film since the original of The Hills Have Eyes yet it appears from this thread that all Wigan's biggest knobs don't even go to the game.

I seem to remember this happening in a United v Arsenal game at Old Trafford when Winterburn went in late on Brian McClair and McClair started booting him on the ground, they had an all in brawl with Les Sealey storming up from goal to join in. Paul Ince threw Anders Limper into the advertising boards.

Agreed. All of this "it's horrible that" and "we don't need this in our game". As long as no-one gets seriously hurt, a bit of aggro is always good to see.

As for Hock, you can see why Wigan perservere with him despite his limited mental capacity. Very destructive player (in good and bad ways). You just have to hope that his behavious costs them dearly in a big game but in the meantime, it makes sense to play him.
