Can't begrudge the lad for wanting to have a crack at the top flight, and I reckon he'll have a decent shout of getting in to the England set up by the end of the year.
As Nozzy said, we're just glad to have kept hold of him for so long as he's had several offers over the years to step up to Super League, but he wanted to remain with Leigh until the right club came along for him, and that would certainly be yourselves with your recent record in developing players.

He's looked quality so far, as people have said, he does the hard graft without being too spectacular. If he continues at this rate of progress I'd definitely be looking at including him for 2013.

Not sure about this, I think Cooper has been terrific so far.
Hill though looks like a great signing. So far he's done everything you'd want from a young lad at this level for the first time, getting through a big shift without a fuss and looking like he's been around the team for ages. The time he spent training with us last year can only have helped with this.
I was quietly confident before the season that if Morley stepped down at the end of 2012 we'd have enough to replace him internally, I'm almost sure of it now (I'm not saying Hill is as good as Morley, just that Carvell and Wood have more than enough to be the two starters with Hill and Coops from the bench). |

It is also my belief that Hill will end up replacing Morley, evetually. |
