It's been a strange start to the season... I don't think we have really played well, yet we're unbeaten and top of the league.

We have made loads of mistakes with ball in hand. Our game has been simmering just below the surface, threatening to click into gear, but never really doing it.

Agreed and if we don't click on Friday then I also expect Leeds to win. If we do click though, we could easily win by 20 or 30.

Friday nights a toss of a coin for me at the minute. No idea which way it will go.

talk of going thru the season unbeaten is stupid and it wont happen..whoever we lose to wont make a scrap of difference come play off time as leeds proved last season...fridays game at leeds will be a toughie and one where we will have to be at our best to win..got a funny feeling we`ll get turned over tho,

If we get Monas M, Coops, Super Ben, Grixy & Brett back & playing then we will win.

Ryan Hall is the key for Leeds. Unfortunately I think we have lost Bridgey for this one.

Yeah already put my Guesstimate as a Leeds win,just have a funny feeling we will not turn up for this one hope i am wrong though.

Around the ruck is where Leeds can be beaten...But it looks like there will be no Monas, so Higham will have to put in another performance like he did against the Bulls except 2 or 3 notches higher..

Seems odd that so many Wire fans are predicting that we - the TRUE champions - will lose to a team that was far below our quality last year, and was only lucky in beating us (unjustly) in the playoffs?

I would have thought that this game would show how wrong it was last year that Leeds could be labelled champions rather than us, and we will go to Headingley and show them who the real champs are.

My thoughts also. The Leeds team we will face on Friday evening is near enough the same team we defeated 40 - 24 (HJ) and 42 - 6 (Headingley) last season, and had plenty of chances to beat in the playoff game but were below-par.

It seems that a slightly lacklustre performance against Bradford, combined with a few injuries has created an aura of pessimism. Yes Leeds are the World Champions, but against Wigan and Castleford, they looked very beatable.

I agree with some of what you say here, it is much harder to win the LLS but ask any Wire player whose season they would rather have had and every single one would say Leeds!

Also how was the defeat in the play offs unjust?

If anything Leeds winning from 5th show the play offs work. If the team that finishes top of the league always wins the play offs then whats the point in the play offs!

If both teams play to there best then Leeds will win but if both teams play to there usual standard Wire will win!!
