| Actually, back on topic, I think I was more disappointed in 2005 than tonight, that was the worst playoff loss for me, we had been on that three week whirlwind high of Andrew Johns coming and it was the first year in a decade we'd been in the top 4 in the league, and we were outplayed start to finish, it wasn't like tonight where we came second in one that could have gone either way.

Awful attempt.

| Well personally this is the lowest I've ever felt as a Wire by a long long way. I can't even get myself up for the derby today and I've never made any secret of the fact that Liverpool are my "first" sports club before Warrington. Nonetheless it feels like a dream has been crushed in devastating fashion.
We will never have a better chance to be champions, and I honestly feel we're just never ever going to reach the Grand Final. The best season we've had in my lifetime just feels now like it was all for nothing.
Completely and utterly shattered.

| I've been on Coroner's Jury service all week so the 'loss' has already been put into perspective.

| I'm pretty low right now.
We picked a terrible night to come up with that performance. Yes, you have to remember the season and everything that we've achieved and say that it's been a hell of a season, but if ever this was our time, this was our time. We'd beaten all the top teams comfortably so could rightly feel that there was nobody to fear, then we came up against Leeds who played very well but we were far from our best, seemingly full of nerves and we fell off our gameplan, fell away from what we've done all season that's made us a top side.
I hate the word that's banded about on here, but sadly, I do think we 'choked' on the night if i'm honest.

| I think our attack was choked out of the game by an extremely impressive Leeds defence, they controlled that area all night and made it impossible for us to either "get a roll on", and there was never any room on the fringes when we were flinging it out wide. In contrast, our right side defence looked decidedly shaky last night and Leeds had a lot of success gaining ground and/or making breaks on that side.
All credit to them, they played their part in a thrilling and nail biting spectacle, and came out on top.
The season's not over yet though, off to Old Trafford as a neutral and then we have the 4 nations to look forward to! (I'm hoping for and expecting a NZ/Aus final, should be a cracker).

| My overwhelming feeling is of massive frustration, always been against the play-off system and now to being a victim of it, honestly i'm angry.
Warrington finish with the most points, best attack and best defence and will be offically third in the league. It's a farce.

I thought the first 5 mins showed a nervousness i've not seen in this Wire side for a while. The first sign was when Hodgson and Monaghan let the ball bounce between them early doors and then a couple of minutes later Briers dropped an easy ball with the lign in front of him. His reaction to that drop was interesting as well. He looked like he'd dropped a ball in the last minute of a grand final with the line begging where I would have just expected him to bounce up and gee the lads up.
It was a brilliant game and you've had an amazing season. It's probably no consolation at the minute but what Wire must do is use this season as a launch pad for better things. They can't afford to let it be the high point and then fade away with the dissapointment. I'm sure you won't anyway tbh. The club has good backing from Simon Moran, a top coach, a cracking set of players, a great youth set up and the expansion plans for the stadium look great.
Things will keep rolling forward.

| I think we all saw why Briers was never picked at the highest international level. 4 international centres and dominant pack but sadly no halves

| How can anybody be gutted after watching that game? It was the best game seen all season and superbly reffed. It's disappointing to lose, but 1 team had to. Leeds came with a straight forward plan of playing fast rugby, 3/4 men in every tackle and no lying on at the play the ball. Exactly the same way we have played all season.
Our problem was that we never calmed down, age old problem of trying to score off every move. I've heard and read that certain players did'nt turn up. Briers is still carrying an injury imo and Monaghan was outplayed by Buderus. My gripe is Myler, I have yet to be convinced by him, certainly not worthy of his price tag and just does not get involved enough for my liking.
Basically, Leeds had the experience of playing play-off rugby, and it showed, whereas, we have very little. Good luck to Leeds next week, but I feel that last night's game would have killed them.
