The police get slated for when they get stuff wrong, the get slated when sections of society believe they are being victimised...sometimes they just dont have a choice!

If a criminal brandishes a gun, or fires shots at the Police then they have every right to fire back as happened in this case.

Imo, they should have more Stop and search actions, all police officers should be armed, there should be very stiff prison sentences for drugs and firearms offences ( which is what these riots all boil down to) and there should be a zero tolerance policy in all criminal activity.

This is a fundamental issue of political leanings. there are many right wing views on here that, although not wrong, leave a sour taste in my mouth.

All I can say is thank no one has been advocating death penalties for criminals.
