you were spot on mate, iirc they were taken from the same rugby school as Bateman and co., were rugby union and league players in wales, moved to Warrington on a promise from the club, played a few years at Burtonwood Bulldogs, and won everything they could with Great Sankey High School.

Just whilst were on Rhys, Ben is just as good, think a mix of Morley and Westwood, they both have a great future at our club.

to be fair to the RFU, seems the RFL arent to fussed either, Brough, Harrison, Bridge, Evans twins and Faasavalu iirc.

Give it a year or two of everyone telling him how awesome he is and you might find that reservation goes from his personality. Fingers crossed the politeness doesn't go with it!

He looks like a fantastic little player, but surely for the sake of international RL he should play for Wales (and his brother too, if he's as good as advertised).

Similarly Brough should play for Scotland.

On the subject of playing for England or Wales:

He has a free choice. He could even play for Scotland if he wished. The reason lies in the loose definition of what constitutes a country, and therefore, nationality. Wales, even by the loosest definition of a country is not one. If you want to get technical it is actually part of England: a region of. This is the reason they have a regional assembly and not a parliament. You can only have your own parliament if you are recognised as a country. A simplistic view of this would be to ask everyone who live in Great Brittan to look at their passport and see what it says. The all share the same nationality. My wife and I, she who was born in llanidlose in mid Wales share the same nationality. We are both British. We were not born in separate countries. As is usually the case this comes down to money. Because players are paid to represent their 'country' they cannot be excluded from doing so based on the region within the country that they were born. There is the power of employment law.

Just noticed at the end of his interview on Sky, he was asked about the England/Wales situation, and said that for him right now England is the best choice.
