i still cant shake the niggling feeling we will NOT win the GF , we havent even made it past leeds yet

next year i would expect us to win it though .this year we lack the vital bit of composure where it matters .
this year will be put down to experience and used in the big games next year

Would hate to see Wigan win

Don't really care. If I had to choose anyone, it would obviously be Huddersfield.

Detest is an interesting choice of words. As a Wigan supporter I obviously want Wigan to win things but if they don't then as a RL supporter I just want to watch good rugby. I enjoyed watching Wire win the cup. They played some terrific rugby in the semi and final. I also enjoyed the game against Hudds because it was great game of rugby for the neutral. I have felt all season that the GF may end up with Wigan vs Wire but as it now won't I am just hoping it won't be a SaintsvLeeds final just because that is getting a bit samey. I would prefer a Wigan v Saints game now simply because that will probably be a better game. Nothing against Huddersfield but they tend to play a spoiling game against Wigan whereas Saints are more likely to play open rugby. However, I am not counting any chickens yet as I am sure that Leeds will be trying to make it 4 in a row and they are quite capable even with key players out. Hopefully we will see two great semis and a final.

how can people give leeds a chance at all? for the second half of the season they have been completely marshalled by danny m, and now hes out i cant see them getting past wigan again. although i would prefer it, logically it will never happen. if i want anyone to win it it would be huddersfield, but i have a feeling they wont be able to reproduce their outstanding performance from the 1st half yesterday. and lets face it, even at our best yesterday we were poor, yet we still stood a chance of snatching that game, and i feel if a full strength wigan side or even a semi strength saints side got a hold of them, that they wouldd toy with them, no matter how much i hope it isnt so.

Wigan deserve to win it. If not them, I'd choose Huddersfield ahead of the other two.

We need a change.

Wigan v Hudds final would be great for the game, but I think it'll be Wigan v Stains. Although I don't want either to win, I would rather Wigan, as it's removed the Stains/Leeds monopoly, and well, their fans aren't from St Helens!

Hudds or Leeds. A Stains vs Wigan grand final would be almost unbearable...
