Unfortunately the Under 20s season came to a premature end this afternoon with a 10-0 defeat against Wigan Warriors who now travel to face St. Helens next weekend in the Grand Final at Knowsley Road.

The game was a real arm wrestle and was 0-0 at half time but Wigan just had the edge in the second half.

It has been a brilliant season for the Under 20s; to be league leaders at the end of the regular league games was a fantastic achievement considering that half of the side that have been playing on a regular basis are still eligible for the Under 18s.

I am sure that we will come back even stronger next season because we have a very talented squad of players who are very eager to progress towards Super League in the near future.

Thanks to everybody who has come along to support us this season; we hope that you have had plenty of enjoyment from watching the young lads.

See you again in 2011.

I doubt your claims somehow, although your definition of 'high IQ' might be a bit lower than most peoples. I suspect you don't even have a post grad qualification. Probably done a bit of work experience in a fast food outlet which, to be fair, would be pretty good from someone from that area.

...because we play in the spirit of the competition by, where possible, playing younger players. To be fair, Wigan did pick Phelps to even it out.*
