I was warm just stood in the sun with my away shirt on (plus jeans etc. obviously) so you must have been roasting although it looks like you didn't have to sit in the sun like us on the lower tier.

Walking up to the stadium, all i was getting either to my face or in the distance was "i bet he's bloody roasting in that".

The truth is i was, and it was bloody hot and uncomfortable my t-shirt underneath was wet through and i actually wrung sweat out of it. Would i change it though, no, really enjoyed suffering for the cause.

Im fine. we were about 7 rows back. I wanted to watch the game, so it was all just an annoying distraction to me.

However, for the elderly lady I gave my seat up for because she had a panic attack (i was on an end of row seat), and for her young grand-daughter who was hit in the face by a cup it wasnt so nice and I imagine it took all of the gloss off the entire day for them. Thankfully the little girl appeared less bothered than her gran was.

It's so sad that it is these people who we may lose as fans as a direct result of a one off incident like this. In hindsight, I wish I had taken photos of the pricks who instigated the violence before it all kicked off but it doesnt cross your mind at the time.
