Unfortunatelly until wigan eventually drop down a few leagues the rugby side will always be 2nd in importance its only a matter of time until warrington town take over the hj and we have to change our games  |

If you finish 1st, why will it be a problem? You will play friday night then the groundstaff will get the pitch reday for the game on the Saturday. Is this arrogance by those in charge that it "was a forgone conclusion" Wigan would finish first, after all the footy fixtures have been out for a couple of weeks. |

Calm down wheres all the talk about arrogance??? The problem is they wont let us, especially for a game that would only be confirmed the week before. We have already had to move our Huddersfield game from friday to sunday, as the Latics are now playing at home on the sunday. Not remember when we had to move a play off game to Widnes???

Sorry mate. By arrogance I simply meant that as the football fixtures have been known for quite a while it seems that the way that the first weekend games are being shown, must have been on the basis that WiganWarriors would come top of superleague and could play on the Friday and not interfer with the Latics game. Why wont they let the games go ahead on the Friday if the Latics dont play til the Saturday. It would be very easy for the staff to get the pitch ready. After our last home game they got the pitch ready for football for the BBC to film a drama series the next day.
By moving the Huddersfield game I assume you mean from Sunday to Friday rather than the other way around. And no, I dont remember you moving a play-off game to Widnes...lol |
