Now we,ve giving you a chance to finish top by beating our derby rivals Wigoons. Now don't mess it up when you play Leeds next week.

Every team will drop at least 2 more points before the end of the season IMO

Looking at your fixture list i think you will drop 4 points, to not drop any would be some achievement especially with the CC as a distraction

Looking at the run ins Wigan have a tricky one on paper.

Leeds away
Both Hull clubs away
Hudds at home

We will probably lose atleast one out of wigan saints and leeds. At the start of the season i had us and wigan to finish 3rd or 4th as i couldnt decide who would be higher

As a Wigan fan i think we will drop 4 points. Losing today means the game against you lot is more important, especially if you beat Leeds next week, drop 4 points maximum and beat you lot, we should be home and dry. Easy icon_wink.gif

Saying that there is very little difference between 1 and 2 spot, i wouldnt mind the hubcap though even if its not a proper trophy.

I still fancy wire to finish top.

Wire at home
Hull away
Leeds away
Bradford at home

Are we really going to win all those 4?

Leeds Rhinos Home - could lose
Crusaders RL Racecourse Ground - should win
Castleford Tigers Home - should win
Wigan Warriors DW Stadium - could lose
Catalans Dragons Stade Gilbert Brutus- will start to hit form now they have two half backs and its usually always tough in france
St Helens home- our record speaks for itself
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Belle Vue - seem to struggle there
Hull FC Home - depends what hull team turns up
Harlequins RL The Stoop- should win

I'd expect you to win all of those apart from Leeds at Headingley.

3 horse race.. wire and wigan certainly in the driving seat.. think our injuries are going to catch up with us, but two fantastic results.. we've got a decent run in

salford home
leeds away
catalans home
quins home
wakey away
wire away
bradford home
crusaders away
cas home

i'm glad we've not much travelling to do (distance wise) no hull, kr, catalans or quins.. besides leeds and wire away and a traditionally tricky tie at wakey, it's not too bad.. i'd expect 7 wins, but could see us winning all 9 (or just 5 or 6 for that matter)

that said, i know it's a cliche, but everyone genuinely can beat everyone on their day.. just look at the crusaders result today..

It would be awesome if the club could arrange BELIEVE in the north stand, imagine what that would look like in primrose n blue, a bit like what united do at old trafford.. Be even better against saints game at home, on sky, before the semi and before arguably our best chance of beating them in years!

Just a thought icon_biggrin.gif

Rather stay second. Let all the attention remain on whoever finishes top.

Don't think we should put too much pressure on ourselves to try & finish top. The law of averages suggests that we will loose again possibly twice before the end of the season.

Lets face it, given that we are going for the CC we have to watch out that we don't end up knackered by the time the play offs come around, otherwise we will do what Huddersfield did last year & loose all their play off games.

I can see us winning 5 or 6 with 3 losses. Alot will depend on how we do in the CC. If we lose, moral will take a dent and could derail the season. I hope not....and pray not.

Hopefully Carvell will have a bit more confidence in his leg next week and see some of his big runs....

I put a tenner on us to finish top at the start of the season, expecting and hopping no worse than 3rd. To be this late in the season adn be in with a shout of everything is fantastic.

What do you want to win most?
League leaders?
Challenge Cup?
Grand Final?

To do the lot we would probably need to win all our remaining games.
We should get to the final of the CC - not underestimating the Dragons, just we will be favourites.
In the leage I can see us baeting Leeds, Wigan and Saints and losing to someone daft like Quins or Wakey. I do not think we will win them all.
Grand Final is a step too far this season. We have won what one playoff game ever, I just think this year is a year too early.

I do expect to win the GF with Smith at the helm one year.
