I don't think it was malicious really...But i think it was worth a yellow card because of how late it was...
If you hit a kicker late its an automatic sin bin..I don't see why it should be any different when you hit a player late who has just passed the ball..

I think it deserved a Yellow Card tbh, even if Robinson had kept a hold of the ball O'Loughlin would have still hit him like that so it'd have been a high tackle, to me it looked like he saw the ball was going and decided to put him on his anyway a-la Wilkin.

He's basically said Robinson cant look after himself.. Look at Burrows against Hull the other week although he threw a few air punches at Lauaki at least he was still having a go, and Riley was the same last week.

We should pull out every sneaky trick in the book for the cup match. Sneaky facial in the tackle, quick Hopoate finger up the jacksie, bit of sledging about their Mums. If they are primed for vigilante retaliation then we could get at least one red card out of them. Remember to send them off with a Ronaldo wink.

Taking another look at it, i think he could of got a yellow card and maybe should have done. It deffinately doesnt deserve a ban though.

I think the video review panel will look at the challenge and act on it and hand out a 1 or 2 match ban ! Brown will get cited for his comments and get a fine and retract his comments IMO !

Can the video review panel just look at it if it hasnt been reported or cited??? Compared to what some players have been getting away with its not a ban.

The late shot was terrible by O'loughin. Robinson didn't even have the ball and it was in his face which obviously is above the neck which should have warrant in a yellow card (bordering a red) and definatley put on report.
