No need to sweat it Matt, nor the Manly boys, all teams were not good enough on the day, based on the news story that Storm have been rorting the salary cap for five years, lets go back to the 2005 premiership.
The Weststigers played with a talented team that had a total salary that peaked at 2.8 million dollars for the year, that team was the best out of all teams as they won the Grand final, the Storm did not, even though the cap was being breach during that period.
Back to what I mentioned earlier, no other team was good enough to beat them.
The boys should be proud of their accomplishments, both singularly and collectively. Ray Price of the Eels was asked if the 2009 premiership should be given to the Eels, he said no, that's not how you win.
This will be all forgotten in the near future, its just a storm in a tea cup.
