Radcliffe & Maconie is a fine substitute.

Went to watch Mark & Lard as the Shirehorses in Manchester, very surreal, but very funny. Not listened to Radcliffe & Maconie, would you recommend?

Radcliffe and Maconie are excellent on Radio 2. Now that I am middle aged I find 88-91 FM gets increasingly listened to.

It was brilliant! My mate's band had the privilege of supporting the mighty 'Horse in Preston many moons ago, what a night. I do miss the radio shows, though. Championship Frogging, you don't get that on t'wireless now. As GDMM said, Radcliffe and Maconie is a more than adequate replacement.

Looking forward with interest to see how Chris Evans does on The One Show too, I was a big fan of his shows back in the day when he was cutting edge.
