This was all part of Jimmy's grand plan for our 1st team to be totally fresh and ready come the start of SL14. Turned out that we were totally undercooked and weeks behind everyone else in preperation. JL deserved the push for this alone. |

Can't believe I forgot about the pink parade - but like I said i classed that as a reserve grade fixture!
Lets hope we can maintain our unbeaten record in competitive fixtures with the pie men! |

I think the point he was making that it would appear both Wigan's first team, and reserves seem to be well drilled, with the same defensive stratergy. |

Correct.
Both sides in the games against Leigh and Wire have kept the opposition out for long periods even though alot of the time they were camped on Wigans line.
Good signs going into the season and longer term if we can just stop making handling errors. |

Wigan's defence was excellent and we didn't show the guile to beat it. One thing I really hope though is that this season the refs are not going to allow the slowing of the ptb that Allibert did on Wenesday. Ruins the game for me and cuts down the chances of decent moves
