| I'm not sure on the capacity, but haven't Cardiff City just had a new football stadium built, something like that would be ideal, if that's circa £30k. Get it packed to the rafters, folk may even miss out, best way. MK Dons ground, Oh, I dunno.
Failing that, just pick a town, or even a village, somewhere affluent, and then like, just don't tell them. Make it, so the locals of like Towchester wake up, get invaded by common folk, and the local 'W.I.' meeting is invaded by Cockers & Co with his regatta fleece under his 2005 jersey, banging out 'Barmy Army' and blown up sheep etc.

Are you thinking that one game of rugby league watched by a handful of people would convert the American people to the sport?
They haven't got into 'soccer' yet and thats despite all the money they spend on Beckham!'"
You forget that the biggest game in USA is American Football with similarities. they hate Football because they see it as namby pamby they actually like and respect rugby players.
It has more chance than football

A maaassssive raffle I say, including all the major towns/cities in the UK, would make it abit more exciting.

So why would they want it?
You're already trying to get into an already saturated market because American football is so big.
The best places for 'expansion' are places like France and PNG, where you're not really expanding, you're giving infrastructure to a place where there is a market and hunger for rugby league already. Going to America you're onto a loser, it will never take on there.

And what do you do away from the rugby - these cities are hardly top of anyone's must visit lists.

Middlesbrough is like a bigger version of Widnes. No thanks.
Someone else(though it may have been a Yorkie)mentioned Anfield. Too close to home for us boys, hardly a weekend away.
Newcastle or Dublin for me, though i'd plump for Newcastle as the stadiums smack bang in the city centre aka Cardiff. We'd also be helping their finances(God knows they're gonna need it after relegation ).

Not at all, but why do people complain when a world class stadium and organisations are giving money to the game to play a few games there.
That's not about you don't worry. But if RFL were paid double the amount for a game there then it could be considered. However during the current climate, it's probably not a good idea. Best to least keep travel to a minimum of 2 methods (Car, train, plan)
