Maybe enough was a bot of a reach, but there wasn't like there was no effort.

Fans can only do so much if the players don't want to know, why should we bother?

Of course there was effort today - from the forwards and the out backs, but the pivotal positions of half backs are not filled by anyone with any skill or aptitude unless Briers is having one of his good days.
The forwards must be cursing Monahan.

The Newcastle fan's arent bad at all, they where exactly right in that big gob was making decisions that would have a negetive effect on the team.

Keegan should have been given complete control over the team and signings and gobby should never have brought his mate wise in.

I guarantee that had they not Newcastle would not be where they are now.

The effort was definitely there. What cost us the game today was terrible errors in terrible positions ie just inside our own half when starting an attack, or near our own line. Another problem is that we seem clueless, absolutely clueless, in attack when Briers doesnt play. I think we would have beaten salford with Briers and i also think we would have done today as we would have taken our chances, and we had more than enough chances to win the game today.

I'm not prepared to drive nearly 10 miles and knowing that my team would lose. The reasons why I didn't get a season ticket was purely finanical reasons now that I'm a bit healthier financially I'm prepared to go to the odd game however I'm not due to the lack of effort on the pitch.

I work nearly 40 hours a week, I'd like to see the players do that much work in a week as I do. I'm not even well paid.

Spot on - there was plenty of effort out there today - anyone who says differnt must not have been there. Just no half backs to execute plays.

Fair play to Cas - they played some good rugby but had two halfbacks and loose forward with good hands - makes all the difference. The pack must be wondering what they have to do.

I wonder how many Salford fans had the same ideas today?
