I don't see how our club site is "light years behind" our rivals?

I don't visit the official site very often so I've just been on to have a look. The first thing that flashed up in front of me was a big advert about the Catalans match with a link to click to buy tickets.

I've gone onto the main page and within about 10 seconds of looking at the page I can see a big link taking me to all the club news, facility to browse items in the club shop without going onto a separate frame, read a match report of last weeks game, see details of the next match, vote in a poll on who was best player last week, see the league table, info on going to the Barca game, the Murrayfield magic, World Club Challenge. Then down the side I can get instant info on how to be a sponsor or get corporate hospitality, view all the fixtures of Liverpool reserves, various bits of other info and the club and comprehensive player biographies (plus coaching profiles) including all the players' career statistics.

Your argument that the club site is "light years behind" seems to be based on the fact that it doesn't have weekly interviews with players and coaches (which we read every week in various newspapers anyway) and a reserve team fixture list. I agree reserve team fixtures should be on there but this is a minor improvement which could be made, not evidence of a substandard website.

As for the site constantly trying to flog stuff, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place but I haven't seen any of this, I was expecting a load of pop ups to come up telling me about online gambling opportunities or how to find sexy singles in my area but the only adverts I can see are details on getting tickets to RL matches or how to get the club mobile or facebook thing. Thats hardly selling out to commercialisation its informing the fans of club or RFL related products, it's known as marketing.

Rubbish. I'm not sure what the grain is anyway. I don't think Wires_71, Rob Wire or Mark_M could be classed as part of any (imaginary) moderators clique. However, they often criticise many aspects of the club and/or team without feeling the need to be so agressive and/or defensive as you/LWF/PW do.

TANCW, I dont classify myself as defensive or agressive. I always read and respect what others say and If i feel strongly about something then I will put forward a valid and reasoned case.

Maybe me and a few others on here feel harrassed cos as soon as we say something different then people (the same old people all the time) jump on our backs and abuse us.

Dont dare say it doesn't happen cos it does and dont dare make any excuses for it because its inexcusable.

I dont care if no one likes me on here but I do demand a right to free speech without the associated abuse/agro.

But your right to free speech extends to everyone else, surely? Thus, they are entitled to respond to your opinions as they see fit.

I think the problem is that the contents of the complaints are always the same, complaining on here about the wolves website is futile, no one on here can do anything about it however as Greg has offered to communicate with you over your concerns and you chose not to, to then criticise a week later about the same thing means that you would always get this response.

Well the mods, or a certain mod, likes to do it, so what the hell. I quite like the word 'fruitile' in any case. It's all harmless fun.

What I don't like is all this antipathy latterly, looks like the clean slate 'love in' initiative has gone the same way as our pre-season optimism sadly.
