| Me thinks some Saints fans are getting a bit twitchy that we very nearly beat them. Probably a bit of a surprise to many of them, as they ooze arrogance.

| Wanna know what it meant to them?....they all went running around the pitch like headless Sean Longs.
We have been chilled out..a power punch or two and a few scoops and bag of chips.
It wouldn't have been a big deal for the Wire.

Err, no, no it really didn’t. That’s just the view of a one-eyed fan unable to look at a game properly.

| So everything Saints hated about Ryan Bailey has come to them full circle, with that Cockney wideboy Michael MacIntyre lookalike apeman running round our players celebrating the kick going over last night. Really really poor sportsmanship that, as has been said by many Saints fans over the years about that GF incident with Bailey and I recall James Graham refusing to shake some Leeds’ players’ hands after one game because they went over the top celebrating.
I don’t mind a bit of sledging during the game, wild celebrations with your own players and fans, a square up during he game, even dropping the elbow on someone in the tackle or a punch up (oh for a real punch up in the sport every now and again!)... but don’t run round in the other team’s faces celebrating. That’s the sign of a desperate attention seeking idiot. I hope he gets his cummupance!

| Quote: Stand-Offish "A couple of the passes pre field goal attempts were SHOCKING and completely put the kicker off balance.
However with five minutes left ... that was when a drop goal should have been attempted just prior to BMM buggering up.
Wire were right under the posts and central ... almost a gimmee.
OK the game wouldn't be sown up ... but possibly.
Saints took great heart from stopping Wire then and kicked on to victory.'"
It was the same against Catalans and Wigan.
The execution of the pass from dummy half to the lad taking the DG attempt has been evidently appalling in three recent games now, losing us points in all of them.
Balls being passed far too high above the head, or far to far over to one side (the opposite side to where he’s squaring up to kick)... it’s amateur stuff

LMS - one of the biggest ends of a bell ever to grace professional sport. I wouldn't P!$$ on him if he was on fire. Classless, arrogant Sh!thou$e..fits in well at Saints...their fans are cut from similar cloth.

I would hope the Wire players remember that the next time they face him. But then again there is zero biff in our sport now.

That, when you’ve got Chris Hill and Ben Westwood in your team, is hilarious.

How on earth have you proved you can beat us when you’ve lost twice to us this season and not won once?

2 none games for Wire. They meant everything to Saints. Just a run out for us. Next week...boom were going Wembley with the Catalans.

| Quote: Gazwire "To add to that further, the only enigma in this whole scenario is how st helens didn't score 50 and us scoring at all. I totally agree with as108 in that you could tell saints were holding back for the full 80. If saints wanted to put on 50, they could have- it's just they chose not too- they are such a remarkable side and they felt sympathy for us.'"
you should realise that no team has ever scored a legal try against Saints, all scores being a result of a forword pass, obbstruction, offside or a unseen knock on. Also Saints have a strange optical view in that every spectator is dead in line with every pass by the opposition all of which are greeted by the famous saints chant of"FORWARD" Another weird thing is that any player that signs for Saints immediately becomes the best second row/ winger/half back/etc in the game. Surely a wonderful side to support, never having lost a game

On Redvee there is one topic discussing your fans attacking players, and another discussing a group of your fans attacking a couple in their 50’s, no irony there.

| Considering we're just a run of the mill bunch of no-marks and the [ireal[/i fixture and local derby that matters involves Wigan, our workshy inbred friends seem very keen to chew the fat today, don't they?
Anyone would think a sense of relief was in the air.
