| Lazy b's is a bit harsh pal
I don't think many aren't trying. They are either not good enough for top level or colleagues around them aren't.

| There was only one Warrington player who displayed heart, pride and aggressive passion yesterday.
Tyrone McCarthey.

| Well a week next thursday should be something to behold because we (Wigan) were absolutely appalling last night, utterly clueless and if the video ref had been there I doubt if we'd have won as the last two tries were 50/50 decisions at the very least.

| That reflects the game. They attacked, we defended.
Like I said. The best defence is attack.

| Yes we are the team that lost 60 nil at Wigan in the league also the team that knocked them out of the cup a few weeks later.
Wire were poor tonight but Rover's mullered them in the second half. It happens get over it and yes your support turn was not as good as normal.
Warrington have got a better squad than us and financial backing. You will finish in the 8 but where who knows it will be above us.
Smith is a good coach where ever he has been, so deep breath all is not lost, see you in the cup final, good luck for the rest of the season.

| Pretty poor performance from your team tonight. You lacked intensity and desire and Hull KR wanted it more. Overall we were more skillfull and creative.
All teams in SL have had the sort of slump in form this season that you are going through at the mo.
However, Smith is a good coach and to put things right, he needs to get into the faces of most your players individually and fire a rocket up their rear ends. Then play Ratchford and Myler in the halves, Penny at full back, Currie at left centre and Philbin in the second row until you get your form and some of your injured players back. Simples.

I put on last night that I think it's time for Smith to go I don't think I could of been more wrong what he has done for our club.we have lost to much quality and never replaced I think next season we will see good times again with Smith saying he is scouring all over for half backs and with gidley and lineham coming in we should be more balanced side we have to many young lads that are good but not good enough. We need more experience on how to run games and when to close them down. Rant over'"
You have had a decent team for a few years. This can only be maintained if you produce a regular supply of good youngsters supplemented by astute signings. Since your team started to loose its star players you have done neither. Your two signings announced for next year and the search for half backs suggest part of the problem is being addressed. Have you the youngsters coming through?

Probably more than us.
I think some of our supporters are preaching to the choir on here.

I was not preaching to anyone merely making observations and asking a question of a Warrington fan. Have you any evidence for your presumption? What have our youngsters got to do with youngsters coming through at the Wires?
If you want to make comparisons, we have made successful signings, Warrington haven't IMO. We may end up in the same final position as last year but I am much happier with our present squad than I was last year. We at last have something to build on.

| I think Tony Smith, needs to move on, he is tinkering with team selection too much. Good players looking very average because they are being overcoached.

| I've left it nearly 24 hours before posting.
I've read the last 3 pages of this thread.
So -
Chris Hill and Ashton Sims (and possibly Brad Dwyer) were the only ones who can hold their heads high.
They really went in with aggession and power.
First half I think we actually had the balance of play, although some real brain fade moments coming away from or line when there was no need for it.
We were not particularly fluid and we couldn't get to grips with Kelly.
Second half was awful.
After we conceeded a try the heads went down and it went from bad to worse.
There was no talking between the players so in defence some went forward others held back. It was so disjointed. Lineham must wonder what the hell he's done.
Confidence it low and I now think there's a real chance of us being outside the 8.
The senior players need to step up.
The fact it's very tight from 5 to 10 shoudn't take anything away from the fact that we are playing very poorly.
Very very depressing, and I don't think here are any quick fixes.
I'm not calling for TS to go. He's a quality coach but the club have not got a good record of making good acquisitions under his tenure.
Next week against Leigh has suddenly become more important.
I want to see desire and spirit.
Get back to basics for the next 3 matches.
