| He was a stand off at Bradford and he was a stand off at Warrington.
His problems was his immaturity off field, his questionable credentials to taking on a responsibility if the going got tough or pear shaped and his injuries.
...but his ability to play stand off and centre is not at question.
TS said after his return to halfback that at best he is the most talented player in the league.
Jon Wells or Tony Smith?

| I may be in the minority but I am with RD on this in as far as there can be no question that Brdige has been outstanding at half back since moving there so why change things at present?

| I too feel that he looks uncomfortable at half back, and is reluctant to pass the ball too often for me. He is doing a decent job but I don't see him for the long term at half back.

| Dont get me wrong, he has been better at 6 than anyone else we have played there this season... He has done a good job and should probably keep his place when Myler is fit again... But to describe his performances as 'outstanding' is utterly ridiculous.
We need an organising HB with a kicking game. Nothing has changed.

| The kicking game is the best we've had all season.
I think Ratchford needs to put his bombs up a little higher. Nowt wrong with Bridgeys bombs.
When we kicked deep we turned men and more importantly chased it up well.
Bridge Ratchford and Monas are all talking and organising.
Goal kicking from the touchline was off a bit from what weve seen Bridgey do over the last 2 months. We can forgive some near misses and ALL goal kickers have some days not as good as others, it doesn't mean the Wheels have suddenly fell off.
Perhaps it was big game pressure. Nothing that practice and experience cannot put right.
Some of us still need more convincing and some of us just can't see the woods for the trees.
There are question marks over Dobson too.
I've seen how well he played at Hull kr and also how completely reliant on him. When he was targeted or injured rovers couldn't buy a win yet his teams rarely surfaced in the top half of the league in his entire SL career.
He hasn't played hb or kicked a goal in any competitive game of rugby league more than twice in the last 3/4 of a year.

| Apologies if its already been mentioned but according to LE Dobson could be on his way to Saints to replace the 'homesick' Walsh.

| Manchester Evening News is reporting - in a throwaway line in the report of last night's match - that Dobson has signed for Salford. Not heard it from any other source though.

In that case Dobbo will be returning to a level of rugby league he has become accustomed.

Well that wouldn't really be a surprise. I think Koucash will just throw silly money at anyone he can get at the moment.
They said last night that they were prepared to offer Sneyd a improved deal to get him back from Cas.
If I was Sneyd, I'd tell him to shove it up his .
