| Nothing to do with positions. Older guy said to me last night we play the "Yorkshire Way"i.e Too much up the middle. Like Wigan we don't seem to have a Plan B.

If that was Hull or Wigan, they would have stuck 50 on Saints tonight, not been beaten by 2 points. But the difference with Warrington is that when we come against a really poor side, we end up sinking to that level ourselves.
Regardless of whether we had 5 days rest, and they had 2 weeks rest, Saints were far from the "Entertainers" tonight and were there for the taking, and once again, we didn't take it.
I wasn't confident before the game, so the result isn't a surprise to me, however I'm very disappointed in the way the result happened. We should have won that game, but our inability to step it up against a poor team cost us, just like it has done several times this season.'"
i cant recall wigan putting 50 on us two weeks ago at their place..in fact i think we beat em 23---4 didnt we?...what an embarassing post this is to the rest of the genuine wire supporters..biggest bunch of sour grapes post ive read!

If that's the case I don't see any point in why we have kept him around, season is over by time he is fit on that basis and he as said he will be going home only wanting one season over here.

I'm not sure where you are getting the "feel any better in defeat" from, Mr Albion. I said before the game kicked off that I wasn't confident about the win, so it wasn't a surprise to me that we lost, considering our record against Saints at the HJ and each teams turnaround from their last game.
I would have been more surprised had Rhys' try been given and we'd have won the game. What I stated in my post was how I saw the game. If someone else saw it differently, then that's up to them.

You obviously fail to grasp the concept of my post, but with you being a St Helens fan that is understandable I suppose.

It is called "evening up the penalty count". It has been done plenty of times in games.
Quote: RIGSBY "then the fiasco for your last try that was dissalowed baldy gave it as a try till the video ref saw he was in touch!'"
So you expect Bentham to say no try? He made a live decision based on what he saw; if anybody should have said something it was the touch judge Mike Woodhead, he was the closest official to the incident. If Bentham saw that Evan's foot was in touch, he must have the greatest vision in the world.
However going off his performance last night, he most definitely does not......

| Just adding my two penneth!!
I honestly didn't see too much wrong with the game last night, a couple of blades of grass stopped Evans scoring in the last few minutes and had Hilly managed to stretch out a bit further within the first ten mins then his try would have been awarded. I cant remember who, but there was a kick in goal in the first half that bounced around, landed in one of our players hands but was the spilled.......had he held onto it it was another try. We made good ground and had most of the possession and territory against a fresh, in form, saints side. Not bad given our last game was 5 days earlier and theirs was 13 days earlier.
Yes we spilled balls, and the running was off but we could still have won. I'm also not having this Saints are crap thats being spouted around, they are a form team at the mo who scraped a win against a Warrington side who has barely had chance to breathe since their last game.......
Says more about Saints than us I reckon.

Just remember, last night we hardly looked interested for 60 minutes.'"
Our problems this season, summed up in one soundbite.
We just seem (at times) like that unfunny Catherine Tate character......am I bothered?
When we look interested, we're comfortably the best team in the league. Such a pity seem to have the attention span of a schoolkid in his 3Rd detention of the week.

At last somebody is talking sense. I just can't believe some of the earlier posts calling for T'S to be sacked etc. I can only assume these individuals are perfect and expect the same standards from all lesser beings.

And who's available should the situation arise? I don't feel there is currently anyone better than we already have nor would there be anyone better.
Unless you would want to promote from within.

| Surely agar will replace smith when the time comes. He's been groomed for it and is clearly a huge influence on your current performances

Perhaps you'd like to try again then.
You claim that the Wigan side (that Saints beat 21 - 4) would have put 50 on them......
Even Shaun Wane only claimed a 30 point difference if Ben Flower had lasted the Grand Final
