True. Benji Marshall on the HJ pitch to replace Lee would cause romance explosions all over town.

| Imagine Marshall in SL, his touch'n'pass approach to rugby would go down a treat. It'd be like watching Rangi Chase but with a an end product.

We can live in hope! He's just one of those rare players isn't he. I have a sneaking suspicion that Benji would rip Super League clubs to shreds at this moment in time. And Rangi reminds me of him in a few ways, certainly with his ability to confuse the living daylight out of defenders.

| My feelings on England are that we have the most competitive squad in years. By that, I mean we have talented players in key positions. If we could get some combinations going between Roby, Brough, Widdop, Tomkins et al, we could cause some problems. Unfortunately we also have the worst coach in years so I cant see that happening.

Do me a favour with this, please. The only change of any real note from the last two Four Nations and the World Cup will be Danny bleeding Brough. If that proves enough to win, I'll eat my hat. And coat for that matter.

| I stand by it. We have enough quality players in key positions to be the most competitive England team in years. We dont have the imagination or mindset to do anything with that.

Myler is improving, been good this year. And Atkins is a good player at SL level, I just think there are big deficiencies in his game that are papered over in Wire's side, but will be heavily exposed internationally.'"
Pretty much bob on with that post.

Isn't Grix playing for Ireland? I don't bemoan him being in there but why not Briers as well then?

He probably will but if McNamara wants him, he's available for England selection I understand. Similar with Carvell, Harrison, Evans, Bridge, etc. They could all play for other home nations but want to play for England.
Briers though, has decided he wants to play for Wales. He is not available for England selection.

| Winds me up all that business, fair enough let them choose. But once you've played for one, you can't play for another.

| The problem is, and the RFL have suggested tighter International selection policies, Australia wont play ball and therefore there's not a damn thing you can do
