We won't play that badly and win again! Especially against that lot! We just seem to have their number atm which is lovely. 

A bit scratchy in attack but some of our forwards like Yates and Musgrove really put a shift in today. 

Gutsy but loads of improvement needed especially in the spine although Sneyd’s game management is invaluable.  

And finally, pains me to say it but Welsby was superb for Saints

It pains me to say it, but I wish our attack was more like Saints, we would score more. Timed passes to runners instead of flat ones. Our attck seems to be to hope someone can wriggle through. Thankfully it worked on this occasion.

Has he been headhunted by the NRL yet?
He deserves better than the SL. When you think of the bang average that's gone there, and come back with the passport ink still damp.

Saints aren't going to get back to their best until they replace Jonny Lomax. He's done for me.

Welsby was very good today, although I think 'with speed' might be pushing it.

To be honest all of the Saints players did quite well apart from that donkey Sailor. If Briers was responsible for bringing him over with him, maybe he is still a Wire after all.

Venue changed to Saints for semi final now.

To be fair to me , Hampson was slower than Steptoe's horse (another one for the 50 plusers)

Heroic defending across the park. Very scratchy with the ball at times but individual brilliance saved us. 


I never thought I'd see the day when we beat Saints 6 times in a row. Well done Wire.
