I have subscribed and it is much, much better without ads in terms of speed and usability. I've had a problem quoting other users today but I think that might be a more general problem.

Wolfweb had the extra bonus feature of tracking cookies/IP which meant you could see when people used duplicate usernames, because it put their other account name in brackets after their user name. I'm sure keith the beef/wrongly accused had a few burner account names on there! |

Without adverts or memberships then the site would not exist as our out of pocket expenses on hosting, software and insurance would mean that we would have to close the site down.

The adverts are not the main issue for me… I’ll use an adblocker.
It’s that the site is no longer optimised for mobile or tablet format.
It’s in a browser format. Many of us don’t use a laptop to view the site.
I for one just flick on now and agin and check it out on my iOS phone.
At this time I’m having to scroll side to side to try and read the posts.
It’s got to the point I speed scan half the post and guest what the other side might say.

How is the posting hanging issue now guys? We've put a couple of fixes in and hope that it is now resolved. We continue working hard to make the site more usable, please bear with us, it's not a quick fix.
