| Slight off topic, but regarding King’s pace, he’s pretty fast just not from a standing start. Once he’s into his stride though he’s fine.

he was pretty naff, a lot of bods were clamouring for him to play right second row after filling in one time in 19 or 20, and having a good game.
Every time he's filled in since he was pap.

| Not all that confident for this one. After our woeful performance against Salford (we were bad) and the fact its Powell im predicting a big wire win. Hoping I'm wrong mind.

| The only person I’d be worried for if Longstaff was to take the field against Edwards would be Edwards. I’ll be very disappointed if Longstaff is not in that 17 on Thursday. I’ve no bias other than the fact that I love him deeply.

| Wrench was involved in a couple tries but reckon even he wouldn't be completely happy with his game.

| Perhaps not but Wrench did more in that game (a game in which we were poor) than King managed in the last 10 games of the season. I would never wish to agree with Saddened but he’s right King has to earn that shirt back and be patient. Wrench currently sits as the best performing centre of the three…matautia will need to improve also.

Looks like Wrench is in line to keep his spot according to the Warrington Guardian. Interesting that Powell refers to his pace and footwork as potentially taking him to the top. When he got the ball from Currie on Saturday it was a combination of those things that enabled him to get Ashton away. It wasn’t as if we’d particularly stretched the defensive line at that point. Could well be up against Mamo on Thursday.

Mamo was at fault for Salford going length of the field from a kick off on Friday night

| 4 match ban for Holmes according to TRL. Or is that just BS? Thought the appeal would be heard tomorrow?

The appeal is tonight but not seen any news yet. But according to WG it could be extended if the panel feels the appeal is frivolous.

An extension by one match, but by three? That’s some example to set! Hope it’s not true.
EDIT: It’s Bentley that has had his ban extended to 4. I expect Holmes will get 2, and will miss Toulouse.
