Quote Uncle Rico="Uncle Rico"I'm sorry CW8 but I don't agree with your sentiments that you hope we get beat ro speed up Price's departure.
I don't necessarily think that this will be the case and it wouldn't guarantee an upturn in our fortunes. He's going at the end of the season a successor has been lined up with a reputation for a different style of rugby league that's enough for now surely?
Why not have a season scenario where the team puts I'm some effort and wins giving the new man the best possible headache'"
No need to apologies UR, for what it's worth I don't think 1 result will speed up the departure earlier. I can only see this season being one long drawn out car crash, I know that's negative and I'm sorry about that but it's just the way I feel, it's as though the club have written this season off, I certainly have and I really don't like it. I don't look forward to the games at the minute, I will always watch but it's difficult to say the least.
I don't think the team will give the new man a headache with performances under the current regime, I think it has to change for that to happen. I've said before it's not personal against Steve Price and I think he is doing his best but it just isn't working and it's not going to either IMO.
I am really excited for next year, Powell would have been my choice and I think the club will benefit from his appointment but we are 2 league games and a cup tie in to this one!m, surely I should be able to look forward to the rest of this season too? It's the worst I've ever felt as a wire fan, I have no belief at all, when we were crap I looked forward to the days when we had a good day and caused an upset these days those results will just make it more depressing to think they can perform well all along but don't.
I'll try to be more positive now that's off my chest. Let's see if the team make it any easier this weekend.
