In terms of financial risk, its probably less of a risk than when we were reportedly interested a few years back, he was supposed to be on around £400k per year at Wasps, so even with a 50%, then 75% exemption in his cap value, and with a lower salary in RL he still would have taken up a big chunk of cap with no guarantee of success.

I would think his salary demands would be lower now, presumably the interest wasn't as strong from RU this time around.

I guess you mean me , i actually only ever criticised one signing you made so please do not make things up . To answer your question i am disapointed in the signing of Eastmond as i feel he has lost his pace which was a major thing in his locker , plus also he is injury prone , i guess with the injury situation we are in the club see it as a relatively cheap gamble on the salary cap .
Sorry for coming back on here as i said i would wait until you won a Grand Final before i did so , but i just wanted to put the record straight .
