Why are you disappointed? Why would anyone pretend they are staying? It's much simpler to be honest.

Think it’s more that if we have a bad run of form fans will be asking him to be sacked immediately if he’s going anyway but on the other hand hopefully he takes a ‘leash off nothing to lose approach’ and we actually try to score tries this season.

Should that be the case (and let's hope it isn't), then I can see Henderson as a temporary coach until whoever the intended replacement is, takes the reins in 2022.

Respect to him for giving so much notice, it will be the end of his contract anyway. Good luck to him, he's given us some great moments and they are what I prefer to remember. Must have been difficult for him and his family in a foreign country in a pandemic. Don't forget there's another season yet.

I do worry what effect it would have on the players though. It might be a case of 'who cares, I'm not really playing for my future until the new guy gets here'.
