Atkins not first choice any more BUT I would have him ahead of Burrell. I know that might not sit well with a few people. I suppose Burrell is effectively very cheap though for 2 years.

If this is true the good luck to him, he's been a brilliant signing for us. Atkins has still been doing a good job this season but I would imagine Burrell will have been given some guarantee about opportunity to play otherwise he probably wouldn't have been interested in signing. Goodwin and King will be our first choice centres for the remainder of the year and rightly so. King is becoming one of the best centres in the league, Goodwin has loads of experience and is a slightly better all round centre than atkins.

Goodwin has still to sign a contract for next year.

I still think Atkins would have made a better second row than centre. Not a ‘move to second row in the twighligt of his career’ a move to second row in his mid-20’s.

He has some very good attributes, just lacks in ball handling ability. Whether he stays or moves on, I wish him well as he's done a good shift in the P&B.

Atkins is pretty reliable ,ok he has a few brain farts, but injury wise he is pretty durable compared to some of our players.

When academy games were on sky Atkins was scoring try’s for fun. He got a bad injury which bulls thought he wouldn’t recover properly from and we took a punt on. They got it wrong as would have thrived in their team and would have cost less.

Has it been confirmed. Would seem a strange move if so in the middle of his Testimonial Year.

Not to my knowledge I just wish him all the best if true. I guess if it is a loan it doesn't contractually/financially affect the testimonial position from an RFL/HMRC view point.
