| First half was dull until BMM and Philbin came on. We were better second half in terms of energy and enthusiasm. Charnley finished excellently for his 2 tries. Sita brings excitement when he comes on and a great finish. Roberts is v. good in defence for a halfback but i'm still waiting to see his running game.
Brown ruined my accumulator by dropping the ball with the line beckoning.
Overall a comfortable win with a lot left in the tank (hopefully for Monday).

| First half poor, better second half, the team looks balanced great start from Charnley. If we can stay injury free up front we should be ok
I'm not getting carried away but there seems to be a bit of progression with this set up, baby steps, but encouraging signs for me

| I think both sides had one eye on Mondays game.A good result. We played well in patches and did well to come back from a 10-0 deficit. Another good game from Cooper and Bennie was clearly happy with his try. Same again on Monday please.

Can't argue with that so I think the result, however ugly in the 1st 40, was the main thing.

| Sucked the life out of them in the first half and reaped the reward in the second. Charnley probably saw more of the ball today than in his whole Union career. Good to have 2 strike wingers. The pass by Roberts was sublime and he has strarted to think about taking on the line, all in all showed progress.

| Unfortunately, we are still lacking in ideas close to the try line & our best moves came from 20 or 30 yards out. Widnes were much more agile than us in putting the ball about the field & too much of our game involved 5 drives but we are getting there & woe betide the team that gets our complete display.

| Great subs and timing have been good to see price is starting to get the results and we're still improving
There were errors but the players recovered from them kept their heads up and won the arm wrestle.
King and charnley look a handful and with time to develop an understanding could be a real good combination and improve defensively
Roberts is starting to improve brown has played OK when called upon shame he dropped the ball with the line beckoning ratchford has turned into a different player since the Huddersfield game
Theres reason to be happy yet wee moaning about a bad 20min or someone not passing the ball for a nailed on try, assuming the balls not dropped the player doesn't fumble over the line or is not tackled or bundled into touch lol.
Theres room for improvement yes but we are improving game after game!! Let's just be happy with thatand enjoy the win

| It's a bit odd how this forum is used. I'd love to see the stats for the numbers of users if "we win" vs. "if we lose" (say for 48 hours after a match). If we lose it seems we need to get on here, have a moan and it makes us feel better. There is nowt queerer than folk ... on a forum.

| I suppose it's natural that when more fans are satisfied by a result/performance that they just can't be bothered posting 'that was fine' or words to that effect. The need to vent some steam after a loss is a stronger motivation to start typing. I agree, however, that it's petty to pick on a few individual lapses when the overall performance of each player and the team was good.

| Toby king although not a bad game today needs to stop kicking the ball when a pass is on. I thought Morgan Smith did well his distribution from the ptb is very crisp and accurate. Good signs for the future. Bennies jig after scoring was a joy to behold
