Six games is nothing. Lack of pre-season for many of the players makes the six games even less important.

If we’re in the Super 8s, great. If not, so what?! We don’t have a devine right to be in the eight. Leeds Cas Wigan Wakefield Saints Hull are all definitely better than us possibly Hudds too so you’re talking one more place and who’s to say none of the others are better than us? On paper I think Catalans are so there’s the eight gone!

All we need to do then is work hard to stay up again and after a year of seeing what’s what Price should be able to see who he wants to keep and all the many dead woods he wants to get rid of.

I'm not unduly upset.

We are in the bottom half of the league and have played Leeds Wigan and Saints.

My worry going in to this season was our defence would be dreadful but apart from the Huddersfield game, on the whole its been encouraging.

our attack however is pitiful and that will cost us.
Do not underestimate how badly Tony Smith Let the quality of the team run down he should be blamed for that for eternity...

we are a rank ordinary side and will finish around 7th or 8th, it's what many of us predicted at the start of the season. I see no reason to think differently now.

I thought Roberts was showing signs of improvement. he looked a little lively and mixed up the kicking game.

by the way Murdoch Masila is a huge disappointment

Spot on. Though something must be very wrong if our moneybags backers can't put together a more competitive team and management structure than Wakefield and Huddersfield on their shoestring budgets.

Is rugby league recruitment about finding the right quality and type of players to conintue club trends, style and culture,, with good thought put into multiple candidates who may be given the chance to play in a club’s shirt? As well as identifying deficiencies in the squad and pinpointing the right players to rectify them?

Or is it a case of scrape the barrel because the salary cap is so low and hope for the best?

When we’ve signed players at the level of what we saw from the team of 2009-2013, Lineham Russell KBrown Hughes Crosby MBrown aren’t filling this team with players at the same level as Morley Carvell MMonaghan MKing LAnderson Solomona Hodgson, many of the youth players coming through aren’t at the same level as Briers Grix or Harrison. Westwood was one of the best players in the league at one point, he’s not anymore, but he’s a starter. Hill is going backwards and fast!

Yes Sandow was a great signing at the time and had he stayed “with it” you could argue we’d have been a different side. Clark is a very good player and this year’s signings may end up being good ones. Ratchford could be good in another position than FB. Currie coming through was fortunate. Other than that we are utterly average!

we look very poor so far. Just hope that our fortunes improve with the weather. IMO we'll finish bottom four again...with Widnes, Catalans and HKR. Shambles.

Defence is largely okay. Attack is still dire. We are relying on tries from kicks. And they aren't skilled ones. We're hoofing it to the corner and praying for enough confusion that we end up over the line somehow with the ball in hand. Its all we have at present. We're going nowhere fast.

ok should the worse happen in the coming weeks,lets keep price and hendo and keep watching boring rugby in the hope we scrape into top 8..if your happy with that good on you...if you want me throw a name as to who i,d like to see here,chris chester a very go0od young english coach whos done wonders at wakey and they are very good to watch,..but as long as your happy watching utter tripe
