I think we had guys held up a couple of times too, but on all occasions there was never much chance of the ball being grounded.

We had three real good chances from kicks (scored two of them). We also had Fonua's half break where Shaul knocked on, and that break from Carlos down the middle, both of which were half chances at best. Tbh it was tight as a drum, you won't see many games with so few clear cut chances, and that's what a final should be.

Couldn't be arrised reading the whole thing, so just to say the reason we lost was because we missed two conversions, one more difficult than the other, and because Ben Currie couldn't keep the ball in his hand going over the line.

Kick one of those goals and we're moaning about a replay at Uddersfield at the very least. Sport hurts.

I've not watched it all back but I thought you were held up once over the line and we were with taylor in the 2nd half. Both sides forced on drop out, both had a good chance to score which was stopped by good defending, both scored 2 tries and we kicked 2 goals to your one. It really was as even a contest as you're ever likely to get. I'm grateful we edged it

The tackle was good, nevertheless 99 times out of a 100 you would expect to score there. Especially if the ball was carried in the opposite arm to the defenders tackle.

If Currie had gone over the line his ball carrying arm was already on the ground as houghton tackled him.
A dry day it could quite possibly have got disallowed as a double movement as there wasn't any momentum

I thought that when Ben Curries momentum had stopped that half his torso was over the line.

His ball carrying arm was grounded short. He would've had to lift it to get it over the line. After checking hs arm was over the line only because he had lost the ball

Danny Houghton was clearly seen to pull Ben Currie's elbow & upper arm away from his body thus loosening the grip on the ball. Similar to the Chris Riley no try at Catalans a few years ago that lost the game that day.

I think that was the sixth time this season that we've matched or beaten the opposition on number of tries and lost. I think that only our defeats to Cas and Wakey have been through getting properly beaten. That shows our tee kicking is leaving something to be desired.

I don't know whether you saw the Cas game the previous week but Gidley was struggling to kick then ,so maybe he is injured. If so i am surprised Ratchford wasn't asked to kick at Wembley

Who was our last truly dependable kicker? Steve Hesford ? John Woods?

Seeing as a goal is worth half a try I often wonder why they are not seen to be given more importance.
