The bloke is a good player, it wouldn't be the first (or last) player a club has signed with a less than rosy past.

Seems to me we would be buying for the sake of it, and then having to shuffle players to fit him in. I'm sure that breaches one of Sally C's rules!

Smith thinks we are well covered at centre with Atkins, Ratchford, R Evans and T King a big season for all four, if all goes well with Sandow and Gidley I expect Atkins will receive better service with Ratchford finally settling into a regular spot, hopefully Rhys gets over his injuries and regains his confidence with King who has it all before him.

The one thing about Ferres is he has experience and would be a ready replacement for when Westwood finishes, I can see him eventually moving to prop but I can't see us signing him.
