The potential connection to Leeds is easily dealt with. We put a line in the sand and tell them, if they want him and he wants to go then we will accept Watkins or Hardaker as a swap. If they can't meet the deal then its off, simples.

Well first off, does it make sense that Wire would allow the transfer - in the full knowledge it would considerably strengthen a close rival ? Then there is the problem of money. We paid £185k for Clark, is it really likely that Uncle Gary, who is tighter than a camels in a sand storm, would cough up that sort of dosh ? Finally salary. Clark will certainly be on a high salary at Wire, but everyone knows that Gary expects players to take peanuts. That will almost certainly mean Clark would have to take a pay cut.

If Clark is unsettled ( and I don't believe that is still the case), then my move would be to sell him to the NRL. I would get a high fee because of his contract length, Clark would get a high salary plus it is what he has said it's ultimately want's to do, and finally he would not go to one of my close rivals.

Anything is possible, but Clark to Leeds is very unlikely.

I've heard that Leeds enquired about him, and Clark was keen on the move as he still lives in West Yorkshire. Wire were happy to see it happen providing they could find a suitable replacement. Farrah could certainly be considered suitable.
