| This is the same Stephen Broomhead that described Roy Asotasi as the 'biggest signing in the clubs history' when he was announced. I wouldn't be getting too giddy.
According to Moley we're speaking to 2 NRL forwards, one of them allegedly being Mitchell Dodds (which I hope isn't going to happen based on his record of injury).

| Quote Kevin Turvey="Kevin Turvey"That would be short term madness from a Wire perspective as far as I'm concerned. Clark is showing some real form now despite carrying an injury. Equally comfortable at loose forward or hooker and only 23 I see no reason to swap him for an over 30 hooker no matter how good or experienced.'"
Spot on short term madness indeed, Clark's body language was good and he was enjoying his game he seemed quite settled to me.

| There has been a lot of speculation with Clark from day 1 especially after that interview where he spoke about the NRL. He has played through the season carrying an injury as some say? He has certainly picked up and is showing more of himself, for me he has moved from big fish small pond to small fish big pond. He has many years ahead of him and I hope they are in a Wire shirt. The potential connection to Leeds is easily dealt with. We put a line in the sand and tell them, if they want him and he wants to go then we will accept Watkins or Hardaker as a swap. If they can't meet the deal then its off, simples.

| Quote Charlie Sheen="Charlie Sheen"Farrah to Wire, Clark to Leeds is a rumour I've heard.'"
Well first off, does it make sense that Wire would allow the transfer - in the full knowledge it would considerably strengthen a close rival ? Then there is the problem of money. We paid £185k for Clark, is it really likely that Uncle Gary, who is tighter than a camels in a sand storm, would cough up that sort of dosh ? Finally salary. Clark will certainly be on a high salary at Wire, but everyone knows that Gary expects players to take peanuts. That will almost certainly mean Clark would have to take a pay cut.
If Clark is unsettled ( and I don't believe that is still the case), then my move would be to sell him to the NRL. I would get a high fee because of his contract length, Clark would get a high salary plus it is what he has said it's ultimately want's to do, and finally he would not go to one of my close rivals.
Anything is possible, but Clark to Leeds is very unlikely.

| I've heard that Leeds enquired about him, and Clark was keen on the move as he still lives in West Yorkshire. Wire were happy to see it happen providing they could find a suitable replacement. Farrah could certainly be considered suitable.

| From what iv heard, The Tai deal was virtually sealed but he has stopped answering messages so could be dead in the water. Also heard we have 3 signings to announce, one from Brisbane, but no names were given. From a director as well............................................apparently.
The Clark rumour isn't going away either. Could be an interesting few weeks ahead.

Clark has lived near St Helens for quite some time now.
Was told last night that we had turned down an offer of £350k for him. Can't verify that as true.

Plenty of crap on that board. For instance, whenever they win off the back of a ref's decision, it's always sour grapes and the ref had a good game.
However, there is currently a TWENTY THREE page thread on James Child, unsurprisingly its in regards to a game that Leeds lost.

| Quote jaybezz76="jaybezz76"He said before the game today warrington to announce a major signing next week I wonder who it could be'"
I wonder whether he meant by Friday or by Saturday? Either way he's running out of time with his prediction. Unless of course, by the fact he mentioned it on Sunday (which is technically this week) he meant it would be announced next week. Clever bloke, that Broomhead.....
