Terrible really but expected, as Matthew rightly said, he left us in a sticky situation and can't expect to return to a red carpet rolled out and roses at his feet.

And the only way Hill will go back to Leigh is when he's way past it. We took a solid yet ordinary player and gave him the resources, coaching and experience to be the best prop in the country, the only place he'll go from us is the NRL.

Everyone here is entitled to an opinion and if they feel that he doesn't deserve an applause, they won't clap. Many others will.

I'm happy that Micky found a way to prolong his career, he's had a fantastic career and made the most of his skill set.

That said, no hard feelings from me, he was always going to play second fiddle to Clark when he settles in, a man of his wage, it isn't feasible for him to sit on the bench waiting for a young hooker to tire to get on. Clark should be able to push very close to 80 mins, and the back up hooker can't be a top earner. It's not as if it was Monas who was aging and struggling with injuries. As a business decision, it makes perfect sense. £50k in the bank, plus 5 months of wages saved, thanks very much!

The deal 2016-2018 was/is perfect for Mickey and Wire. This whole fiasco got shabby when he asked to leave earlier than his contract stated. Going through the right channels would have helped the situation. If TS had as stated previously helped secure Mickey a longer term at the last negotiations no wonder the $h1t hit the fan. For his play he gets a round of applause from me (as long as I am not on me own) for the way this has been handled he can bugger off
