I'd take him as a replacement for Wheeler, so covering as a back up half - I'm not sure on him as a first choice starting half at this stage - although I haven't really seen anything of him this year.

I'm guessing Wheeler will go, barring a real return to fitness and form in the middle 8's.

Gaskell will be 25 years of age by the time the 2016 season starts, I can't see him being happy to be a "reserve"
