I have read this topic as it happens and what is obvious that a lot of what you post apparently goes over the head of anyone who responds to you negatively...it's your standard riposte and it's tiresome.
Who are these Manchester United fans that you speak of, you know the ones that are boycotting matches specifically because SKY have put all this money in?
As I understand it, there are plenty of 'average' Football supporters of quite a few clubs that find the money in the game ridiculous particularly when it sloshing around in the pockets of agents and mercenary journey men.
Question is, should we as a sport try to take advantage of this? Well I think we should, as our sport is generally a better product in terms of value, it's one that has not lost touch with reality and is something that can still and should engage with the community that our teams represent.
