| If we lose in the playoffs again will there be a few questions here asked about Tony Smith?
Has he failed given that he has still not won Super League? It's what people were saying last year.
With Noble potentially available or Agar to step up, will we be allowed to criticise Tony Smith or is he above criticism?
Especially given that if we lose to Wigan, TS will have got the team selection wrong like he did in the Grand Final last year where he didn't make contingency for if we lost two outside backs in the second half...

| After the start we had to the season what we have achieved so far could be looked upon as a success, However part of me feels this year the standard has slipped a little in Super League overall. If we are honest Saints stumbled over the line , I believe we could and should have beat Wakefield and Hull KR at home, and Widnes away. We would have won the LLS with a transitional team . That said the last 2 weeks have been enjoyable and our expectations are lower than the last few years, so it will probably be our year! We have to bully Wigan and stand strong, I think this is the toughest game we will have and do not fear Saints if we win. I hope we do it for M.Monas.

| This was a transitional year with the unexpected loss of Briers. Asotasi hasn't done what was hoped but is hanging in there. Simms and Clark to come and younger players brought through so on that basis I bought next year's ST. Still the best value entertainment around and I hope loads more do the same. ISWT.

| For a season of transition our outcome has been good. Semi of the both Comps, with a real chance of making the Grand Final
Going back to the dark days of February & March & how awful we were. I remember leaving the Wigan game & thinking we could actually be in the relegation fight.

| One of the biggest obstacles to our transitional season has been breeching an opponents line although our progress up the field in general has not been a problem. We are learning gradually to get players scoring without relying on the easy option of a Briers pin point kick to set up a score & as a result i think we are seeing some better rugby.
I expected Joel to struggle this year without Briers's kicking ,but the lad's come up trumps & exceeded all expectations thanks to some excellent passing moves within the team. We still need to have a readily available Plan B though for when opponents throw a spanner in the works.

Nice
Will you be in your spot in the South on the East 10 metre line next season?
