According to Google maps Le Grande Cafe de la Poste is a 270m walk from our apartment on Rue Jean Payra, takes 4 mins, so may have to stop for a pint on the way.

Fly out Friday morning into Barca. Straight to the castle bar and then onto the match.
No need to walk, if you speak to Dave Foti of Catalan Sports Tours he will book you a seat on a coach which turn up outside the castle bar. Think it is €6.
Fly back Sunday back into Manchester with a slightly sore head. See you all over there.

Really looking forward to going, as I've said, I've never been before. What a fantastic excuse for a holiday. I'm going to petition the RFL to allow a team from Barbados or Mauritius to join SL next year.

Staying Lloret again this year again, for people who've not been to Lloret then the Queen vic is the place to be at nights, full of Warrington fans. Although I didn't see much in terms of restaurants, I just settled for a kebab or pizza at the end of each night.

I've been backpacking around Europe since late April so the last match I attended was our 68-0 win against Doncaster in the Cup! Since then I've been watching via Wiziwig when Sky has covered us and listening via WireFM otherwise. I've also managed to spread the word of League in several English pubs along the way! Alas there's nothing like being there in person and while I'm on the continent I've taken the opportunity to cheer the boys on in Perpignan for the first time! I'm staying at some place called the Park Hotel in the city centre. Can't wait!

This should be one of the last stops on my trip as well so I should be able to resume normal service with the Cup Semi in St Helens the following week. NOW THE WIRE...
