I find it strange that working in London I must walk past god knows how many hotdog vendors and am never tempted to buy, I walk past the hotdogs, schnitzels and sausages in the supermarket and...nothing.
YET I walk in the stadium see the cardboard buns and dry looking overpriced hotdogs and instantly yearn for one.

WTFing hell is wrong with me????

Funnily enough. I was saying this on Sunday! Whenever I go to the LSV I end up really craving a hot dog. It's always underwhelming yet two weeks later I do the exact same! Glad it's not just me.

It could be lot worse.

You could pay Barcelona Olympic stadium prices of about 10 euros for a pint and then find out it is alcohol free. Now that was hilarious. (I didn't make that mistake unlike many others).

BUT..the club has nothing to do with the price of beer and drinks and food at the HJ. Its a separate company that runs the bars and kiosks. As a business they will obviously sell the stuff for the maximum amount they can whilst still generating sales.

£3 a pint at Cas on Easter Monday. Would have needed 12 pints mind to wipe the memory of the game...

I've never understood why they don't open the bar in the North stand when the Sky games are on and show them on the big screen, not everyone has Sky.

It weren't even a pint! It was a can of Carlsberg poured into a plastic cup!

They could have built one into the south east corner rather than the superfluous gap full of overpriced food I'm yet to see anyone buy that we have instead. Something like the club at Widnes or the bar at Langtree would be fantastic. It's not exactly like we are spoilt for choice in town.

There are lots of empty bars in town. Many if them keep shutting down for some other person to follow and lose on them too.

Whilst I agree that a supporters bar is a good thing, the one at Salford is good with its covers band playing prematch and programme sellers it works because there is nothing else in the vicinity (about to change) so helps combat the car park issues and match day 'rush hour' before and after the game

We are 'blessed' with quite a few pubs within a stones throw of the HJ so don't know whether it would work as well as AJBell/Langtree/LSV
