| You're obviously far too good nowadays and too used to success. You should offload your best players to the Bulls to even things up
I'm not sure what you do to end the spate of "nothing games". Reducing the numbers in the play offs will mean more games involving clubs outside the play offs will be lacklustre. You could bring back relegation but that opens another can of worms. As I remember "nothing matches" occurred pre SL and will always occur, you just need to keep them at a minimum.
The game is a lot more sanitised than it was, this does make it less interesting IMO. There was a paltry bit of handbags in the Leeds vs Bradford game on Thursday yet it added some spice to an already decent game. Bring back the biff.

| Ive been saying this for sometime and get blasted for doing so.
Superleague is a sham and the regular rounds are largely pointless to a degree.
2/3 teams are not competitive in any shape or form.
The only games worth seeing are those involving wire, leeds, saints and wigan. The rest are nothing games with very little atmosphere.
Blame the authorities and blame sky. The game is dying a slow death.
On that note, happy April everyone!!

| Its not just our games though.... im struggling to enjoy games right across the board. I used to love nothing more than sitting down on a bank holiday weekend knowing i could watch 3/4 games on TV and watch a few live.
I tried to watch every game this weekend but i ended up doing something else in every game before HT.
As i sit here typing these, Offiah is on talksport saying this is the most entertaining SL season for many a year.... maybe im living in a Parallel universe.

| lack of atmosphere and* i couldnt care less about the result at the end of the day * just about sums it up for me, and ive been a s-t for more years than i care to rem!and im seriously thinking about not renewing my s-t nxt year! it just seems weekly games( apart from wigan, leeds, saints etc) are not worth paying for, well until the end of season run up to the g-f knockout games! and that just does not seem right to me,rl is certainly losing its appeal to me and i feel that it must change the present format or die on its a**

| Well glad someone else said it. I used to look forward to all games home/away, opposition didnt matter. To me, if as long as I was there, didnt matter if there were 3000 or 20000 win lose or draw.
Last couple of years, I really couldnt care for some of the games. Even the Widnes game on Friday felt flat as a pancake to me. I thought it must have been me but clearly I am not alone.
Yesterday was an (ok) training session. Nothing more.

| Can people who have such a huge gripe with the current format please suggest a sensible alternative?
Don't just say "Top of the table should be champions" because without the jockeying for play off positions a lot more games over the course of the season would become meaningless. More often than not only two, maybe three teams have a serious chance of ever finishing top.
Promotion and relegation is one idea of course, but giving London a relegation threat wouldn't have made our game yesterday any more exciting from our point of view would it?
In any format a routine win for a good side against a poor side is going to be a bit dull to watch, and we'll have them regardless of league format. Competitiveness is the key, and the narrow points gap between first and seventh position in the table with ten games played (and Leeds still having games in hand too) suggests Super League is currently very competitive at the top end.

| Is it competitive because the lower teams are getting better or because the higher teams are playing weakened sides to rest for the end of the season cup comp?
